Company History:
Kiichiro Toyota, founder of the Toyota Motor Corporation, was born in 1894, His father Sakichi Toyota became famous as the inventor of the automatic loom.1935 was the year when he made his first A1 prototype for Toyota. This was the history of the Toyota Motor Corporation. In 1947 Production 100,000th Toyota vehicle produced domestically. In 1951 Toyota Motors started producing of SF compact passenger cars and SG small truck. In 1962 Toyota reached 1 millionth Toyota vehicle produced domestically.

Toyota Corolla was first made in year 1966 and in 1968 Toyota Hilux corolla Sprinter and corona where launched. In year 1972 Toyota produced 10 millionth Toyota vehicle produced domestically.

Toyota:
NCAP, the European New Car Assessment Program, awarded the all-new Toyota Corolla a maximum five-star safety rating for adult occupant protection, the same rating given to the Yaris, Corolla Verso, Prius and new Auris hatchback. Toyota Camry production began at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA), the North American production base of Fuji Heavy Industries, with a production capacity of 100,000 units a year, based on an agreement between TMC and SIA reached in March, 2006.
